About the Artist

JANINE GIDDINGS 

 

 

Janine Giddings is an Australian artist based in Geelong Victoria. 

Her work draws inspiration from her own garden, the Geelong Botanic Gardens and walks within her own community. She is fortunate to have a creek near her property, where the native trees change with the seasons, providing constant inspiration. 

Working with acrylic as her preferred medium, each piece is a process of layering and brush strokes to capture the essence of the natural landscape. 

Though her work, Janine hopes to create a peaceful and relaxing environment to any room.
